Website design and build

A fast, clear website that explains what you do, gives visitors one obvious next step, and is set up to be found.

How it goes, step by step

  1. First call

We talk about your business, your customers and what the site has to do. Thirty minutes, free.

  2. Structure

I propose the pages and what each one is for. You approve the list before any design starts.

  3. Words

I draft the copy from what you tell me and what your customers search for. You correct the facts.

  4. Design

One direction, shown with your real content, on desktop and phone.

  5. Build

Pages that load fast on any screen. Forms that reach your inbox.

  6. Search foundations

Page titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, Google Search Console and your Google Business Profile.

  7. Launch

Domain, SSL, redirects from the old site, analytics. I check every page and form on launch day.

  8. Handoff

A walkthrough so you can edit the site yourself. The site is yours.

Questions

I already have a website. Will I lose my Google rankings if you rebuild it?

Not if the move is done properly. Before launch I list every address on the old site and point each one to its new page, keep the titles and content that already rank, and submit the new sitemap to Google. After launch I watch Google Search Console and fix any errors. Small swings in the first few weeks are normal; a drop that lasts means something was missed, and I go back and find it.

What do you need from me?

Thirty minutes for the first call, your logo and photos if you have them, and quick answers when I ask about facts.
