Questions, answered straight

What people ask before they hire someone for their website, their search traffic or their Amazon store. If yours is not here, ask me.

Working with me

What services do you provide?

Eleven: website design and build, brand identity, website care, a website and search audit, SEO, AI search visibility, Google Business Profile, Google Ads management, a voice front desk, custom development, and Amazon US store management. Each has its own page with the steps and the price.

Who will I actually be working with?

Me. Dianshi is a one-person studio, so the person on the first call is the person who builds your site and writes your reports. It also means I take on a limited number of projects at a time.

Do I need a website already, or can you build one?

Either. If you have no site, I build one. If you have one, I first check what it already does well, then fix or extend it. I do not rebuild for the sake of rebuilding.

How do I know you can help my business?

Open the work. Five of the projects on this site are live, and each case page says exactly what I did. Then book the free thirty-minute call: I look at your site and your Google listing beforehand, and I will tell you plainly if I am not the right fit.

Do you only work with businesses in the Toronto area?

No. I am based in Oakville and meet clients across the Greater Toronto Area in person, and I work with businesses anywhere in Canada remotely. Amazon store management is for the US marketplace, wherever the brand is based.

Do you work in Chinese?

Yes. I work in English and Mandarin, and I build sites in both languages.

What happens if something isn’t working?

You will see it in the report, because I report what moved and what did not. I change one thing at a time so the cause is clear, and I stop work that does not earn its place. Ongoing work is month to month, so you can stop whenever it stops being worth its fee.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

No. A website is a fixed project. Ongoing work such as SEO or ads management runs month to month, with no minimum term.

I have had a bad experience with an agency. What is different here?

Three things are built into how I work: your ad accounts and data are in your name, there is no long-term contract, and you talk to the person doing the work. Reports come every two weeks in plain language, so you always know what was done.

Websites

How much does a website cost, and how long does it take?

A five-page site starts at $1,900 CAD and usually takes three to four weeks. That includes the design, the build, two rounds of revisions, search foundations and a handoff session. You get a written quote after the first call, once I know the page count and what the site has to do.

I already have a website. Will I lose my Google rankings if you rebuild it?

Not if the move is done properly. Before launch I list every address on the old site and point each one to its new page, keep the titles and content that already rank, and submit the new sitemap to Google. After launch I watch Google Search Console and fix any errors. Small swings in the first few weeks are normal; a drop that lasts means something was missed, and I go back and find it.

What do you need from me to start?

Thirty minutes for the first call, your logo and photos if you have them, and quick answers when I ask about facts. I draft the copy; you correct it.

Who owns the website when it is finished?

You do. The site, its content and its design are yours to keep, and you can move it or hand it to someone else at any time.

SEO and AI search

How soon will I see results from SEO?

Most sites see real movement in three to six months. Some things show sooner: a corrected Google Business Profile, technical fixes, and rewritten key pages.

Can you guarantee a ranking?

No, and nobody honestly can. Google decides rankings, not the person you hire. What I can do is show you what I changed, what moved, and what I will do next.

I have a list of keywords I want to rank for. Can I rank for all of them?

Probably not all of them, and not all at once. I sort the list by what the searcher wants, what a customer is worth to you and who already ranks, then start with the ones you can realistically win. Some keywords on a list turn out not to be worth winning.

I serve several towns. Can I show up in all of them?

On the map, Google favours businesses close to the searcher, so you will show most strongly near your own address. For other towns the route is the regular results: one page for each area you really serve, with real detail about your work there. It takes longer, and it works.

How do you optimize a business for AI search?

By making it easy to read, easy to identify and worth quoting. AI crawlers must be able to read the pages. The business must be described the same way everywhere. Each page should answer a real question directly, and claims need evidence such as names, dates and sources. I also track visits that arrive from AI assistants, so you can see whether it is working.

Will AI replace Google? Is SEO still worth doing?

People now use both, and AI answers are built from web pages. A site that is fast, clearly organized and backed by evidence serves a person, a search engine and an AI assistant at once. The goal shifts from ranking first to being a source worth quoting, and most of the work is the same.

Should I do English or Chinese SEO first?

It depends on who your customers are and how they search. Language is one factor; the value of a customer, your service area and real search demand decide the order. I work in both.

Ads and Amazon

How is Google Ads management priced?

From $500 CAD a month or 15% of ad spend, whichever is higher. The ad spend itself is paid to Google from your own account, and you keep the account and all its data.

How much should I budget for ads?

Enough to learn something each month. I suggest a starting budget after looking at what a click costs in your category and area, and we adjust it once the first results are in.

Is the ad budget included in your fee?

No. Ad spend goes from your card to Google or Meta directly. My fee covers the management only.

What does Amazon store management cover?

Listings, A+ content and Brand Story, advertising, pricing, daily account-health checks and reporting, on the US marketplace. The price is quoted after I have looked at your catalogue and account.

Pricing

Why do your prices say “from”?

Because sites and campaigns differ in size. The starting price covers the scope listed on the pricing page. After the first call you get a fixed quote in writing, before any work begins.

Can I change plan, or stop?

Yes. Ongoing plans run month to month, so you can move up, move down or stop at the end of any month.
