How a custom piece comes together

Most of what we tattoo is drawn for one person. Here is what happens between your first message and the last wipe of the sitting.

  1. Send your ideaUse the planner below. A rough price and the number of sittings come back with it.
  2. A short consultFifteen minutes at the studio or on a call. Bring references; we measure the spot.
  3. The drawingYour artist draws it for your body. You see it before you pay a deposit.
  4. The stencilWe print it and place it on your skin. Move it, stand at the mirror, take your time.
  5. Sittings and healingUp to five hours a sitting. Touch-ups are free for six months.

Cover-ups and rework. Send a clear photo of the old tattoo in daylight. We will tell you honestly what is possible.

First tattoo? Say so in your note. We book a little extra time and explain every step.

The flash wall

Designs drawn once and tattooed once. When one is taken it comes off the wall. Most fit in within two weeks, and Saturdays from 10 to 2 are for flash walk-ins.

Each of us keeps to what we draw best, so your piece goes to the person who draws that style all week anyway. The planner points you to the right one.

    Owner. Fine line, botanicals and small script. Tattooing since 2012.

    Quiet, careful pieces. The one to ask if it is your first tattoo.

How does the deposit work?

It holds your date and comes off the price of your last sitting. It is due once you have approved the drawing, not before. You can move your date once with 72 hours notice.

What do I need to bring?

Photo ID (we tattoo ages 18 and up), a snack, and clothes that leave the spot easy to reach. Eat beforehand and skip alcohol for 24 hours.

Can I bring a friend?

One person can sit with you. We keep the room small so the artist can work and everyone stays comfortable.

How do I look after it?

You leave with a printed aftercare sheet and a small tub of balm. Wash gently, moisturise lightly, and keep it out of pools and sun for two weeks. Message us any time if something looks off.

Is the studio inspected?

Yes. We are a registered personal service setting, inspected by public health. Needles, ink caps and gloves are single-use, every time.
